Team Rules
1. YOU ARE EXPECTED TO BEHAVE AS A HOCKEY PLAYER BUT HAVE FUN!.
2. YOU ARE THE OLDEST HAWK TEAM, BE A LEADER.
3. COME TO THE RINK READY TO WORK HARD AND HAVE FUN!
First win? NO, but it was our first game with a cow bell in the stands! Been a long time, huh? Now for that win. Gavin McPherson started out the scoring with the Ice Hawks applying heavy pressure on the Belles. Next, Cameron Mogk found the top shelf from an impossible angle during a 4 on 4. The Belles made it interesting as the end of the game neared. William the Bad Barrett got called for a roughing penalty and the Belles put six attackers on the ice as they pulled their goalie. But the Ice Hawks iced the game when Matt Carter intercepted a pass and made sure the puck went into the Belle's net.
Playoffs are in Planning!
The regular season is over and it's time for playoffs. The coaches will be preparing the team as we enter the playoff round in the Patrick Division of Midget A. We'll be facing teams from Ice Mountain, Ann Arbor, Suburban, and our fan favorite, the Fraser Falcons. Watch for calendar updates as we schedule these games.

Ice Hawks Lose in the Semis of the Penguin Tourney
Well, it may have come down to too many penalties or too much down time from referee discussions and trying to figure out who should be in the box and how many should be on the ice. Either way, the Ice Hawks ended the tournament with a 4-0 loss to the hometown Penguins. See ya back at Liggett.
Ice Hawks Hold off Happy Valley Sharks with a Tie
Those incredible Ice Hawks almost got bit by the Humber Valley Sharks who managed to even up the score with 8 seconds remaining in the game. Cameron Mogk netted the first goal and Gavin McPherson followed with two more to give the Hawks a three goal lead before Happy Valley started a come back in the third period. A five on three near the end of the third became a six on three when the Sharks pulled their goalie but the Hawks with another strong showing from Matt the Mountain Moroso were able to kill the penalties. Unfortunately, the Sharks sank two in the last 20 seconds to keep their hopes alive but in the end they were sent back to the valley. Too bad for the Valley as they were sent packing after a long discussion on whether or not an overtime was supposed to be played. In the end the Ice Hawks picked up a point and now it's on to the semi-final round.
Ice Hawks Calm the Poor Credit Storm
The Midget Ice Hawks calmed the fury of the Port Credit Storm and sent them home with no wins after a 3-1 win this afternoon. This action packed game saw Matt Moroso shut down the Storm at every opportunity with the exception of a redirect that found its way to the back of the net during a power play. New Skates were just the ticket Gavin McPherson needed to bury one deep in the back of the net after taking a pass from Ian Springfield and then Ian managed to use his feet to keep the puck in play and got off another shot into the net following a feed from Joe Toth. Finally, Joe put the nail in the coffin with a diving backhand that sent the puck into an empty net after the Poor Credits had pulled their goalie, putting an extra attacker on the ice. Good Job Hawks!
